Project Overview
The Ramnagar Bus Port is a modern, mixed-use transit infrastructure project spread over 2.8 acres, designed to streamline transportation in the Kosi Forest range area of Ramnagar. With a built-up area of 10,414 sq.m. and an estimated cost of ₹43.52 crore, the project integrates a bus terminal, food court, commercial spaces, a workshop, and a hotel.
Project Proposal
The terminal includes 11 bus bays and 11 idle bus parking spaces, while the rear workshop block houses 6 bus bays and additional support areas such as storerooms, administrative offices, and staff dormitories. The terminal building features ground-floor amenities like ticketing counters, waiting lounges, toilets, and cloakrooms, while the first floor houses a food court and administrative offices. Upper floors are designated for hotel accommodation. The design ensures climate responsiveness and accessibility, with ramps, lifts, fire escapes, and toilets for the differently abled. Landscaped green zones and a 10m-wide driveway ensure ease of movement and environmental integration.
