Project Overview
The proposed Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) facility in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, is a strategic urban infrastructure initiative by the Government aimed at resolving persistent traffic congestion in the city’s core. Located on Jail Road adjacent to NH-734, the project enjoys excellent connectivity to the Kashipur Railway Station and major highways. The design accommodates 150 cars over five levels, including a stilt, three parking floors, and a fourth floor housing the SP office, along with a digital library and office spaces.
Project Proposal
The structure follows a climate-responsive and sustainable design approach, emphasizing natural ventilation and accessibility, with dedicated provisions for public toilets for all user groups. Functional elements such as wide driveways, lift lobbies, and clear circulation paths ensure ease of movement and user convenience. The terrace includes utility areas and is solar-ready, promoting energy efficiency. With a total project cost of ₹19.82 crores, MLCP Kashipur will significantly enhance urban mobility and organized parking infrastructure.

The site is Located in the heart of the city on jail road adjacent to NH 734. It has a very good connectivity with the railway station & the roads connecting Rudrapur & Nazibabad
The proposed site is currently by the Police department with office of SP, SOG and a control room. It comprised of a temple and parking in front. This building was previously used as a local prison.
