Project Overview
The proposed Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) at Gandhi Park, Rudrapur, is a transformative urban infrastructure project aimed at decongesting city traffic and enhancing public amenities. Strategically located in the heart of Rudrapur, the design integrates traditional Kumaoni architecture with modern functionality, featuring sloped green roofs, intricate jaali work, and stone-and-wood façades. The facility is planned to accommodate approximately 506 four-wheelers and 60 two-wheelers across multiple levels, along with 85 shops on lower levels.
Project Proposal
The structure includes commercial zones such as cafés, retail outlets, and dining spaces on the lower floors, fostering economic vibrancy and public interaction. Efficient vehicular circulation is ensured through a centralized ramp and wide driveways, while dedicated pedestrian zones and landscaped gardens enhance user comfort and safety. Sustainable features like solar-ready roofing, rainwater harvesting, and natural ventilation have been incorporated. This project not only solves parking challenges but also redefines Gandhi Park as a vibrant, multi-use civic destination.
