Vivek’s Residence Renovation in Haridwar is a striking transformation project where an aging façade was reimagined into a contemporary architectural statement. The old structure, once conventional and enclosed, has been thoughtfully redesigned with a bold, minimal, and climate-responsive exterior.
The new façade embraces modern geometry with clean lines, combining exposed terracotta jaali screens, muted grey textures, and warm wooden tones that enhance both aesthetics and ventilation. The design introduces layered balconies and a pergola-topped terrace, creating shaded outdoor spaces that seamlessly connect with the indoors.
Through adaptive reuse and precise detailing, the project retains the original building frame while infusing it with new materiality, proportions, and rhythm. The transformation not only uplifts the street character but also showcases how contemporary design can breathe new life into old urban residences, making it a perfect blend of functionality, sustainability, and timeless modern appeal.
