Project Overview
The proposed Nagar Nigam Kashipur complex is envisioned as a vibrant civic and commercial hub, blending retail, entertainment, and public services within an Art Deco architectural language. The design emphasizes symmetry, bold geometric forms, and strong vertical lines, expressed through repetitive window bays, streamlined facades, and decorative grill patterns. The lower floors host retail shops and showrooms, forming a lively pedestrian-friendly shopping street, while the upper levels accommodate multiplex cinemas, offices, and civic spaces.
Project Proposal
Public plazas, landscaped courtyards, escalators, and sky bridges create dynamic connections across levels, encouraging interaction and seamless circulation. Large digital display panels enhance the cultural and commercial character of the building, making it a landmark presence in the city. The use of stone-toned cladding, accentuated railings, and subtle ornamentation reinforces the Art Deco aesthetic while ensuring durability. Together, the project aspires to become a contemporary urban landmark that celebrates Kashipur’s civic pride with a timeless architectural identity.
