Project Overview
The Unity Mall in Haridwar is a flagship initiative of the Government of India under the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme, conceived as both a cultural landmark and a commercial hub. Strategically located on NH-334 near Jwalapur, the project covers a plot of 9,530 sqm with a total built-up area of 19,374 sqm. Designed with a central elliptical atrium, green terraces, and stepped massing, the mall will host modern retail shops, anchor stores, food courts, restaurants with terraces, exhibition halls, and an auditorium with VIP facilities
Project Proposal
Additional features include a digital library, training centre, conference rooms, entertainment zones, and a two-level basement parking facility for over 230 vehicles. With a sanctioned cost of ₹160.57 crore, the project has secured approvals from the Uttarakhand Housing Department and is funded under SASCI 2023–24. Once completed, the Unity Mall will showcase India’s diverse handicrafts and products, while boosting Haridwar’s economy and strengthening its identity as a cultural and tourism hub.
